Rodney kicked off his worn out sneakers and made his way to the kitchen, the
fridge was almost out of pizza slices, so he would have to start getting the
noodle packs out sooner than later.

After "making" himself some dinner he sat down back on his desk and finally
noticed his computer was left turned on.
"God darn it, ¿Did I leave this thing running all day?, The electric bill is gonna
be a nightmare..."

As he checked the screen something became immediately clear, his computer was
different. Files got moved out of their alphabetical order and, what's worse, ¡all
of the folders were mixed up!.
Music files in the pictures folder, roms in the documents folder, and so on and so forth.

He also made note of a pop up screen on the top right corner, hidden behind an
empty notepad window, it seemed like the firewall had stopped something from
accessing his browser.

Rodney sighed, clearly not in the mood for this, and turned off his computer.
Except that he didn't, the moment he hit the shut down button the screen flashed, as if it was refusing to turn off.

He leaned forward on his chair, getting more worried by the second, he was about
to run the antivirus, when suddenly the cursor started moving on it's own!.
It slowly got dragged over to the game he had downloaded last night.

Click, click.

He couldn't believe it, the physical mouse on his desk double clicked, and the
file opened...

A colorful screen and jolly music greeted him, by all accounts it seemed like a
regular copy of "Jet the Jerboa", with the titular character waving to him from the logo.
He sat there, anxiously thinking about his options.

He tried to unplug the device, maybe he could take it to the repair shop to see what was wrong with it, if they weren't closed.
But no matter how hard he tugged, the plug was not coming off.

Rodney wiped the sweat off his brow and kept trying to unplug stuff, the monitor, the
CPU, the keyboard, everything felt as if it was taunting him.

Now growing more paranoid he dropped everything and went to the bathroom to wash his face.
Maybe it was the lack of sleep finally getting to him, maybe it was being trapped in this little town, and yet.. .
